Welcome Preston's New Resident Trooper Kristofor "Kris" Fisher

Kris Fisher

Trooper Kristofor “Kris” Fisher has been an employee with the state of CT since 2010 and the Connecticut State Police since 2015. Prior to that he worked for the CT DOC, Electric Boat, and was a member of the Rhode Island Army National guard for 16 years. He was deployed to Iraq, Afghanistan, Guantanamo Bay, as well as assisted rescue efforts in New Orleans following Hurricane Katrina amongst other missions.  Trooper Fisher grew up in Westerly, RI and currently lives in Stonington, CT with his wife and 2 children. “I am familiar with the town of Preston through getting my Christmas trees at Oakwood Farm and getting produce from Lopresti’s Farm. I look forward to working for the people of Preston, CT.”

All police related issues or concerns should be directed to Troop E at 860-848-6500 who dispatch all calls.   Many of these calls get assigned to our Resident Troopers, primarily depending on their schedules and availability, along with the nature of the issue.  As always,

It’s an asset for Preston to have dedicated Troopers and when you see them on patrol or working at our schools and local events, be sure to welcome them!
