Welcome Preston's New Resident Trooper Sean Bresnan

Sean Pic

Trooper Sean Bresnan has been a Connecticut State Trooper since 2018 when he graduated with the 127th Training Troop. Prior to becoming a State Trooper, he spent almost 5 years as a Police Officer in the Town of East Lyme. Although Trooper Bresnan did not grow up in town, he is no stranger to Preston as he has numerous family and friends who have roots here.   “I look forward to continuing the history of providing the town with the superior service as did the previous Resident Troopers before me. I am eager to work for the people of Preston and become more part of the community!”

All police related issues or concerns should be directed to Troop E at 860-848-6500 who dispatch all calls.   Many of these calls get assigned to our Resident Troopers, primarily depending on their schedules and availability, along with the nature of the issue.  As always,

It’s an asset for Preston to have dedicated Troopers and when you see them on patrol or working at our schools and local events, be sure to welcome them!
