The Library Board of Trustees is currently seeking residents to join its Board.
Trustees are volunteers charged with establishing library policies,
overseeing the expenditure of funds, the overall operation and management
of the library and are essential to the long-term success of a library.
A significant and exciting revitalization venture was initiated by the Trustees
in 2019 for the Preston Public Library.
Are you interested in becoming a member of an important institution
and contribute to strengthening and expanding the library’s role in the community and advocating for the opportunities it has to offer?
A letter of interest may be sent to Trustees at prestonlibraryboard@gmail.com, mailed or personally delivered to Preston Public Library, 389 Route 2, Preston, CT 06365.
Meetings are held at 6:30 p.m. on the second Monday of each month at the library.
Candidates will be contacted for an interview prior to selection by the Board.
